Report

The Irish Baseball & Softball Association ran the first Leinster or Eastern Division Softball Championships in 1990. There was a separate League and Knockout Championship, much like in the GAA, with the Championship being the Premier Competition, judging by news reports in the Evening Herald.

Marlay Martyrs won the Championship in 1990 beating Odd Sox 9-5 and again in 1992, defeating Batpak in the Final. Dodder Dynamoes, their arch rivals, and the oldest Softball team in Ireland, won the title in 1991, a 17-8 win over Datalex, and the 1993 title, Batpak again the runners-up.

Report

Dodder Dynamoes won the Plate in 1990 after being knocked out of the Championship early in a shock result. The 1991 Plate Final was won by Wetsox and Oddsox Green won the title in 1992.
